We are a community of runners united against the struggles that Black people and Black neighborhoods face.

We promote self-care and Black joy as a radical act against oppression and white supremacy.

We run to build the mental and physical muscle to prevail against systemic racism.

We know that none of us are free until we all are free.

We…Lace Up.

We runners pride ourselves on our perseverance. We see things through despite pain and fatigue. Usually sticking it out is the right choice—those negative feelings are almost always temporary sensations along the road to meeting our goals.
